Using Canva

Half day course. Learn how to create stunning images for your website or blog, email newsletters, business cards, logos, flyers and any social media channels in this workshop. Delegates will be guided through Canva’s user interface, its features and functionality, as well as given shortcuts and expert tips to use.

At the end of this session, you will be able to edit images, design covers, create collages and images to use to market your business.

Microsoft Excel Level 1

One day course. Starts with an introduction to Excel, how to enter data, format cells, use basic formulae (including using absolute cell references), use auto fill, flash fill, basic functions, how to sort and filter data, and insert a chart.

Level: Beginner or existing basic user

Microsoft Excel Level 2

One day course, covers how to use formulae, absolute cell references, how to use range names, format cells (for example as time, currency, date etc), use conditional formatting, IF functions, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, apply sheet and workbook protection and how to link sheets.

Microsoft Excel Level 3

One day course that includes how to create pivot tables and charts, record a macro, apply custom formats to numbers, use conditional formatting rules and how to find and exclude duplicate records.

Microsoft Word – Tips & Tricks

One day course, which covers how to use styles and themes, advanced formatting, how to insert a table, and edit it, and how to work with images. Particularly useful for people who create reports or work with long documents.

Microsoft PowerPoint – Level 1

One day course. This course is ideal for delegates who have no experience or limited experience of PowerPoint. It covers how to use different views, how to make your presentation look good, how to use images and videos, then saving, printing and presenting.

Microsoft PowerPoint – Level 2

One day course, perfect for delegates who have some knowledge of PowerPoint and want to further their skills, or for people who haven’t used PowerPoint in a while. Learn how to create a visually exciting PowerPoint presentation, by adding action buttons, hyperlinks, using video, applying slide transitions, timings and animations.

Level: Advanced – a good working knowledge of PowerPoint is a prerequisite for this course.
